Three districts, one journey. The route leads from Anykščiai grove through the Molėtai lake district to Utena – past hillforts, observation towers and the starry sky of Molėtai.
Start your journey in Anykščiai: take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway, walk along the Treetop Walk, and visit the Puntukas Stone. Then the road winds its way to the Molėtai region, home to hundreds of lakes and one of the darkest skies in Lithuania at night.
The last part of the route is Utena district: Taurapilis hillfort above the deepest lake in Lithuania, Tauragnas, and Utena Museum of Local Lore. You can complete the route by car in one day, by bike in a weekend.
